Get to know Loren

Loren blends photojournalistic techniques with a mastery of on-location portraiture to create vibrant images rich in story.  His editorial work has been featured on CNN, and his portraiture has been recognized in publications and competition.  Loren regularly documents the work of the US Public Health Service, such as medical deployments and special events for the US Surgeon General, and is equally likely to be photographing an intimate wedding or family portrait session. Loren is based in the Washington DC area, but is available to travel wherever your event takes place.

I grew up on Hilton head Island, SC, I went to grad school in San Diego, CA, and now I’m in the DC area.

I still think of myself as a rock climber, even though I’ve barely been climbing in the last two years.

The phase “could care less” drives me nuts. I feel dirty just having written it.

I drink way too much water.
